Gwen Stefani was looking shabby chic in a hot summer outfit on Friday when the 42-year-old singer picked up her son Kingston from school. Looks like he’s getting bigger by the day!

The No Doubt frontwoman has always enjoyed motherhood but has been working diligently on her group’s sixth studio album, Push And Shove, in stores September 24. She even admitted recently that the process behind the music was anything but planned.

“We don’t know what we’re doing,” Stefani said. “Everything’s basically a series of accidents and mistakes.” Well that’s one way to do it!
