Kristin Chenoweth Hospitalized After Nasty On-Set Accident

Fortunately, someone up there really has Kristin Chenoweth‘s back, because this could have turned out way worse than it actually did. The actress has been filming for The Good Wife in Brooklyn, New York, but got hit by a falling piece of scaffolding on set yesterday. The poor thing had to be taken to hospital in a neck brace, on a stretcher after 911 was called just after five in the afternoon. Apparently, a strong gust of wind caused a piece of lighting equipment to fall down, and it hit Kristin “square in the head” and she was “knocked out cold”, according to a witness. To make matters worse, she hit her head on the concrete when she fell. Ouch. The witness dramatically also added, “I thought she was dead at first.” Fortunately, she’s okay now and is being treated for “minor injuries” according to a spokesperson for the New York Fire Department. We hope she heals super quickly and so glad she’s better. A lot of people are talking, quite gleefully, about how accident-prone Kristin is, as she’s taken a few tumbles on both television and Broadway sets. But this really wasn’t her fault, because she’s can’t really control the wind, can she? She did play Glinda in Wicked, but that’s not real people. No real sorcery there. So lay off and just wish her well!
