Rihanna CANCELS Madrid CONCERT, Heads Homes To Be With Mom After Grandmother’s DEATH

Rihanna has cancelled her upcoming Rock In Rio concert in Madrid to spend time with family and attend the funeral of her Grandmother. Deets inside….

Following her performance at the Swedish music festival Peace And Love, Rihanna has decided to cancel her July 5th "Rock In Rio" concert "for personal reasons," based on the notice posted on Rock In Rio’s website today.  Ticketholders will be able to recoup their money if they’d like, even though many more acts are on the bill.

Though the exact reasons weren’t revealed, it’s pretty safe to say she needs time to mourn her grandmother’s recent death.  Rih was spotted leaving her hotel in London (above) to head home to Barbados to be with her family.

As her fam deals with the death of their beloved Gran Gran Dolly, Rihanna plans to spend time being supportive and dealing with her own emotions.

After tweeting a series of pics dedicated to her where she said, Goodbye #grangranDOLLY get your beauty rest until I see you, Rihanna posted the above pic and message to her mother saying, "Coming home to squeeze ya mama."
