Reports state that the second session of the secret meeting organized by Tamil National Alliance senior member M.A. Sumanthiran with leaders from both the government parties and the opposition will take place on the 10th.
The first session took place at Cinnamon Grand last week; however, no venue has yet been revealed for the second session.
The first meeting was attended by Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa, former Prime Minister Ranil Wickremasinghe, and the Government’s Tissa Vitharana.
Iran Wickramaratne from the Samagi Jana Balawageya and Kabir Hashim were also present at this meeting, with Harin Fernando joining via Zoom.
JVP’s Anura Dissanayake was invited for the meeting and had nominated Dr. Harini Amarasuriya to attend, who too joined via Zoom as she was a first contact of a Covid patient.
