The Department of Examinations said that all arrangements have been made for the 2021 GCE Advanced Level Examination.
Hospitals have been set up as examination centers for corona-infected students and the list of such hospitals has been posted on the website www.doenets.lk, the Commissioner General of Examinations said.
Candidates who have been quarantined are required to report to the designated examination center mentioned in their admission slips and inform the relevant invigilator that they are being quarantined.
Candidates will then be given the opportunity to sit for the examination in a special examination room set up in the examination hall in accordance with proper health procedures.
Candidates infected with Covid-19 or those under quarantine can obtain further information from the area PHIs or by calling the 1911 hotline, the Sri Lanka Examinations Department said.
Commissioner General of Examinations L.M.D. Dharmasena emphasized that the examination rules would be enforced in all these examination centers as well.
The 2021 GCE Advanced Level Examination begins next Monday.
