Former Parliamentarian Jayantha Ketagoda says that after the gazette notification, Basil Rajapaksa will be sworn in as the Minister of Finance and later as a Member of Parliament and that he will definitely be nominated for the next Presidential Election.

Jayantha Ketagoda stated this while participating in a news feature program on Hiru TV yesterday (06).
