The Cabinet has approved the establishment of a State Owned Enterprise Restructuring Unit under the Ministry of Finance, Economic Stabilization and National Policies.
This unit is to be established to provide necessary guidance and support in the restructuring of public enterprises with the aim of identifying ways to reduce the financial burden on the Treasury while improving the overall performance of public enterprises.
