Ceylon Fisheries Corporation partners Uber to deliver fish to households

Feb 07, Colombo: Ceylon Fisheries Corporation has taken another step forward by expanding its production network and launching a new program in collaboration with Uber, Kanchana Wijesekera, State Minister of Ornamental Fish, Inland Fish & Prawn Farming, Fishery Harbour Development, Multi day Fishing Activities and Fish Exports said.

The Ceylon Fisheries Corporation operated CEYFISH today (07) entered into a partnership with Uber for product deliveries to the homes in the Colombo Urban Area.

The State Minister said the service is expected to expand to cover Colombo District, Negombo, Kurunegala and Kandy in the next few weeks and other cities and areas.

“We hope to expand to other cities in delivering quality seafood and seafood Products at an affordable price,” State Minister said.
