President Gotabaya Rajapaksa has pledged to increase the income of the local farmers by 100% with or without fertilizer.
“I promised the farmers that fertilizer will be given for free and the certified price for paddy will be increased, and that was my first duty,” said the President.
He also said that policies and the policies of the government were prepared with the future generations in mind.
The President further assured that all promises will be fulfilled.
A new journey
He said that the government has ensured a safe and free environment in the country and the opposition is misusing it, and is attempting to sabotage every programme that was initiated by the government.
The Premier also said the opposition should face them directly without conspiring against the government and the country through various means.
