President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa and the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna have been defeated in the economic war, says Batticaloa District MP Shanakiyan Rajaputhiran Rasamanickam.
He was speaking in Parliament today (08).
Hitleer continued to wage war despite knowing he would be defeated because he wanted to wage war. He urged the government not to do likewise and further inconvenience the Sri Lankan citizens by rectifying the economy.
The MP further lashed out at a government back bencher for rudely interrupting him with degrading words while he spoke in parliament.
Speaking further, the MP said, It is because of idiots like these why it has become incapable of properly steering this country’s economy. This idiot of a short stuff from Puttalam… I do not even know his name.”
In a Tweet, MP Rasamanickam has said, “It has become a practice for a few govt back benchers to abuse me using degrading words while I speak in parliament. Not surprised at all after the example set by their seniors. I have raised this matter today and I’m hoping appropriate action will be taken.”
