India is ready to provide another $ 2 billion in financial assistance to Sri Lanka, Reuters reports.
It said Sri Lanka is suffering its worst economic crisis since independence in 1948 and is on the verge of defaulting on its first debt, and is seeking loans, food and energy assistance from allies, including India and China.
According to a Reuters report, Asian giants India and China have already granted Sri Lanka billions in financial assistance.
