Australia’s head coach Justin Langer has resigned in the days leading up to the Twenty20 series against Sri Lanka.
He has resigned in protest of a brief extension of his tenure as Australian coach.
The talks between the Australian Cricket Board and Justin Langer last evening ended in a stalemate and he later officially announced that he will resign from his post.
Justin Langer led Australia to victory in the last Twenty20 World Cup as well as the Ashes Cricket Tournament.
