A 46-year-old resident of Kirulapana died after falling from the 11th floor of a 12-storey building at Maya Avenue in Wellawatte, the Wellawatte Police said.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the deceased fell while he was cleaning near a window on the 11th floor of the building.
The body of the deceased has been placed at the mortuary of the Colombo South Teaching Hospital in Kalubowila and the post-mortem is to be conducted.
