The US new Sri Lankan envoy Julie Chung was sworn in yesterday by Deputy Secretary of State Wendy R. Sherman.
Sherman said that Chung is a State Department career personality and her exceptional leadership makes her the perfect choice to represent the American people and advance the US-Sri Lanka partnership. Sherman said she looks forward to continuing “our work together”.
