Ranjith Siyambalapitiya commence duties as the State Minister of Finance

Sept 09, Colombo: Sri Lanka Freedom Party parliamentarian Ranjith Siambalapitiya commenced his duties in a simple ceremony this morning (09) at the Ministry of Finance premises.
President Ranil Wickremesinghe Thursday appointed Ranjith Siyambalapitiya and MP Shehan Semasinghe as State Ministers of Finance.
Mr. Siyambalapitiya has served as the Minister of Finance and State Revenue from 2006 to 2010 and the Deputy Minister of Finance.
A group of officials including Mr. Mahinda Siriwardana, Secretary of the Ministry of Finance participated in the event.
