Police say that a vehicle linked to the Manning Market shooting earlier this week, had been spotted at a house of a security in-charge for over an hour, ahead of the murder.
The official is said to be one individual in charge of the security at Manning Market, reports say.
The victim was a mango trader and a resident of the Ja-ela area, named Samantha Pushpakumara (42) also known as ‘Amba Chana’.
It is said that the police are questioning a person said to be an ex-military officer in this regard.
Reports say that Police have also identified the driver of the vehicle, which was rented for this purpose.
