Sri Lanka has won their 2nd game in the T20 World Cup, played in Abu Dhabi today (20) against Ireland by 70 runs, qualifying for the Super 12s.
Winning the toss, Ireland opted to field first and Sri Lanka set a target of 172 at the end of their innings.
Despite losing 03 wickets early, opener Pathum Nissanka and allrounder Wanindu Hasaranga de Silva secured 61 and 71 runs respectively to solidify the Sri Lankan innings.
In response, Ireland was only able to get 101 runs before being bowled out.
Wanindu Hasaranga was named man of the match.
