* Sri Lanka confirms 63 Covid-19 deaths occurred on Tuesday, toll rises to 4,258

July 28, Colombo: Sri Lanka Wednesday reported that 48 deaths due to COVID-19 occurred on Tuesday, July 27, 2021.
The Director General of Health Services has confirmed that 63 deaths occurred on Tuesday, July 27 due to the COVID-19.
Among the Tuesday’s deaths, 35 are of males and 28 of females. The majority of the deaths numbering 51 are of elderly people in the 60 years and above age group.
According to the data reported by the Government Information Department, the total deaths due to Covid-19 since the pandemic began last March has now risen to 4,258 including the deaths confirmed Tuesday.
