Stalin, Duminda et al released from quarantine

Ceylon Teachers’ Union General Secretary Joseph Stalin and 15 others were released from quarantine, on Friday (16), after being placed under isolation for staging a protest against General Sir John Kotelawala National Defence University Bill.

The group had also protested against the Bill while being quarantined at a centre in Mullaitivu. Meanwhile, Duminda Nagamuwa of the Frontline Socialist Party (FSP) and five others who were arrested on 7 July during a protest and sent for quarantine at the Pallekele Quarantine Centre were also released on the same day.
