Former Consumer Affairs Authority Executive Director Thushan Gunawardene said that he would reveal all corruption within Sathosa and this might lead to the President shutting down the institution.
He aired these views on a discussion with an online channel, where he further stated that he receives death threats on a regular basis.
He added that his wife and children have left the country.
The former CAA Executive Director added that apart from garlic, there were scams relating to undu, sugar, flour and other products.
He went onto to say that though the CID is attempting to get statements from newspaper editors and journalists regarding the garlic scam, he is yet to be called in for questioning on the matter by the CID.
