Police have uncovered that two other women who served as domestic aid at Rishard Bathiutheen’s house have died previously under tragic circumstances.
One has committted suicide jumping into a train while the other had died due to some illness.
It has now been revealed that the broker who is now in police custody has supplied 11 women to be served as servants and three of them have died.
At the same time, it is alleged that eight other women too have been sexually abused or subjected to brutal assaults.
The police team led by IP Waruni Bogahawatta has launched investigations to trace the other eight women.
Bogahawatta who was serving in the Child and Women Protection Bureau in Matara has been brought to Colombo to lead the investigation on the tragic death of the under-aged girl at Rishard’s house.
