Dulan Sameera Sampath alias ‘Abba’, a big time drug dealer has been killed in a shooting incident at Egoda Uyana, Modara, Moratuwa.
He has been identified as the main disciple of a large scale drug dealer named Panadura Salindu who is hiding in a foreign country and smuggling drugs into Sri Lanka.
The STF had received information that the suspect was hiding in a house in Egoda Uyana and when they had gone there to arrest him, he had retaliated resulting in the exchange of gunfire.
An STF member had also sustained injuries in the shootout.
